Client: Multinational Property Management Company

Challenge

The EMEA Managing Director had an ambition to double the size of the business within a three year period.

To succeed in gaining share the firm needed a clear and effective proposition for pan regional as well as market and sector specific opportunities.

forward thinking inc was asked to support the senior leadership team in developing compelling, well-evidenced propositions focusing on Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and data and reporting.

Approach

SITUATION ASSESSMENT: Development of a comprehensive situation assessment, using inputs from:

  • Desk research to understand market context, customer needs and a comprehensive competitor review

  • Internal interviews to probe perspectives on strategic context, customer needs, competitor offerings and related existing ideas and initiatives

  • Client interviews to probe customer needs including evolving needs, related customer business issue and opportunity areas, competitor offerings.

WORKSHOP: Workshop the situation assessment and proposition hypotheses with key internal stakeholders to review and refine the propositions.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Produce recommended propositions with rationale, supporting evidence and one-page audience frameworks.

Outcome

Compelling, well-evidenced propositions developed for ESG and data and reporting with a high degree of internal buy-in and commitment to the investments necessary to deliver on them.
